Hello,

This E-zine is for those of you who have asked me for details about my pre-health crusader life.   So, here goes…

Nearly 50 years ago, I had the time of my life, dodging boa constrictors and swinging through trees in Kenya, with Anthony Quayle, Gordon Scott, Sean Connery and a lot of other fun people.   Exciting as this experience was, it was somewhat embarrassing when we returned to London for interiors, and I had to admit to my friends that I had starred in a Tarzan movie.

That’s all changed now.  Because the film, TARZAN’S GREATEST ADVENTURE, is now considered the best Tarzan movie ever made, and because I’m one of the few participants still alive, I’m suddenly of interest to Tarzan buffs all over the world.   Requests for autographs and interviews have been pouring in, presumably because people figure I’ll probably shuffle off this mortal coil any minute, and they’d better grab an interview before it’s too late.

The Edgar Rice Burroughs Society (he wrote all the Tarzan books) has done a fun interview with me about the film, and about Hollywood during those magical days.  So, if you would like to see what I was up to in my B-movie star incarnation, before I became a health crusader, click here to read the article.

Yours in good health,

Elaine Hollingsworth
